One of my favourite things to do when visiting a new city is to sit down with a beer and a good book. Exposed brick and candles are not necessary but certainly appreciated.
I will keep that in mind when we go back! Café Asean was great, some vegan options, you would have been happy. It had a beautiful blue door and exposed brick too. And a tree that grew inside.
Right across the street was a vegan/vegetarian restaurant (our initial plan) that is apparently extraordinary - but it was closed for renovations...

Café Asean? It looks just like it!
Actually it was called The Grey Dog. Very cute!
